Set of six very unusual, and rare, French hand painted cut-out wooden birds, c1950s, double-sided.
With small holes to be able to hang them on a wall, or free hanging to see both sides.
Birds depicted are: Golden Oriole, Great Grey Shrike, Kingfisher, Grey Wagtail, Redstart, Hoopoe.
Knocks and scuffs, and some losses to edges of wood in places, commensurate with use and age.
Approximate dimensions: Various lengths from 25 to 80 cm.
