This is a heavy brass, lead-lined tea/tobacco sarcophagus container with lid. Unusually heavy due to its small size!
It has been inscribed, but the inscription is rubbed and I can’t decipher it.
Very attractive, interesting, and useful too – for trinkets, keys etc…
